Baked Avocado Chips

Did you know that cooked avocado tastes a lot like chips? No? Then give this quick and simple recipe a try and find out for yourself. Avocado can also be lightly fried in a pan until golden in olive or avocado oil.

Ingredients

1 Avocado (sliced into wedges)
2 to 3 slices Prosciutto (optional)

Directions

  1. Heat the oven to 180C
  2. Slice the prosciutto pieces into strips (if using) and wrap one piece around one slice of avocado. Repeat
    until all of the avocado slices are wrapped.
  3. Place on non-stick baking tray
  4. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until the prosciutto is crispy. Enjoy!
